Thank You & itunes charts?

So I have been checking the itune's top 200 chart and have yet to see Matt's song on there but there is a lovely song titled "Like G6" that appears to be about drunk people that you may or may not want to purchase, (not that I'm against drunk people but the song seriously sucks) but I digress! Anyway, this saddens me and I feel like I need to do something about it but what? Any ideas? I did buy 4 copies already but beyond that I guess we just have to keep on requesting it and hopefully more people will be exposed to it! Unless anyone has a genius plan?

What's worse is that I was watching the Top 1000 chart for a while and he never made it there either. It's harder and slower to watch, so I gave up. I think the song might have had a bigger initial surge if we had known when it was coming out in advance like we did with "You Don't Know Me". But it probably would have dropped pretty quickly like "You Don't Know Me" did.


I think it is not unusual for an AC song to not sell all that many downloads. AC listeners are, according to MJs readers, people who buy albums. I don't think there is much to be done other than push the song on the radio and hope it improves sales. The chart ranking is important, and also how long he stays on the radio. Jim will be promoting on the East coast this week, so that should help.


Yes, there is a bunch of garbage music out there, which makes promoting Matt that much more important!
