Well, there are a lot questions to MTV for Matt about the video, releasing music and plans to tour, so let's hope Jim Cantiello is able to extract some answers from Matt.

The thought of Matt, Kris, Allison and Jim together is really fun. I'm wondering how they are going to do it live if the four people are all over the US. We'll have to wait and see.

Recap in case anyone missed it:

-Matt says the River City Studios recordings will be available to purchase on iTunes as a live EP.

-He expects to have some of his music out soon.

-The video he did in Nashville is a duet with a female singer (can't remember the name). It's her song and it will be released soon.

Those are the only highlights I can think of right now. He just talked about the changes to Idol and what he thinks about it. Other than that, he just goofed off a little. It was pretty hilarious actually.

I'm excited for the EP! Then there'll be a compelling reason for him to tour!!

I want to say that Matt was very fun on this interview last night. I especially liked all the times he broke into song -- he sounded really great. He seems to be getting some good press from it, judging from all the twitter traffic. I saw a lot of very positive comments (how much people love him, how funny he was, how hot he has gotten, how good he sounded when he sang, ...). I think this is the first time Jim has interviewed him since the Idol tour. It was nice at the end for Jim to tell him how great he is doing. Creatively, Matt really is doing great (even if he is not a major star just yet).
