Also at the finale -- but performing -- will be another Michigan "Idol" contestant, Kalamazoo's Matt Giraud, who was eliminated two weeks ago in fifth place.

Coincidentally, the last song Jones performed on "Idol" was "Stayin' Alive" by the Bee Gees, the same song that would have eliminated Giraud even earlier had it not been for the new "judges' save" rule.

"I heard the song and said, 'Oh no,'" said Jones, who also had some advice for her fellow Michigander:

"Keep your head up -- you are very talented, and there is life after 'Idol' ... and if he wants to do a duet, give me a call. Seriously."

Awesome! I actually really loved LaKisha in Season 6....Chris, LaKisha, and Phil were my faves. Michigan love!!! They could maybe do something more gospel-oriented together

I think it would be awesome if Matt and Lakisha did team up to do a gospel duet! It couldn't get any better than having two people from teaming up for a duet!

That's really cool, Lakisha is mega-talented. Would love to see Matt duet with her.
