Subject: So - how is your (Matt) state-of-mind today? Fri May 29, 2009 3:48 am

Well - somehow this morning - maybe due to the fact that I haven't gotten that much sleep these past few days - I found myself in a very emotional state of mind. On my way to work on my bike I listened to Matt and his human nature and I had a good cry behind my sun-glasses. I may be a bit naive at times and after having read through all the post on the likely idol-scams, it just dawned on me that this idol industry is quite a dirty place to start up your musical career. So I felt my heart go out to our boy and I just hope and wish all the best for him. Arrghh I still have this immense lump in my throat Crying or Very sad

, but I have to get som work done - so gotta go - Have a nice one everbody - when you wake up Smile

Here in Michigan I feel the same. But even though the AI producers play around with the contestants it is a great platform for a music career. It seems impossible to break into the industry on your own. AI launches many careers. So let's not think about the cold manipulations of AI and think about what an opportunity this gave Matt.

Sometimes when I am driving and listening to So Small or You Found Me, I will start crying. Our boy just moves me to tears! I want so bad for him to be successful in the music industry!

Yeah - it's prob true - but the AI seems to be such an ultra-controlled environment/establishment, that I would be freaked out if it were me. Ah well - the sun is shining today Smile

Im just afraid if idol become a limit to his career growth.
Hopefully, Matt can be free to express what's his music about.
His music just so inspirational, it needs to be heard. =]

I've had the same worries - but maybe idol can be a good platform - at least he has grown a very large fan base that loves him and his music - so I've have great hopes for his future. Can't wait for him to release an album bounce

Thank you AI for letting us see Matt but I felt the whole time he is too real for AI. I so hope he will be taken by another label.
I mean..if I would be a corporation,lets say my name would be like Atlantic.. I would have secretly book Matt already.Because he is a raising star. I love you

Me to!! Sometimes I felt like he actually didn't "belong" there - he is SO much more - and at times I felt like he was not at ease with the idol-mania. The judges' comments really got to him at times - and I think they did because music is his passion/his life. It must have felt like being commented/critized on a very personal level.

True,it was pure torture just to watch him getting those comments. I wanted so to protect him from all the bad stuff,motherly instinct,I guess..Tough game that AI, I bet not many of todays stars could cope with that?
Yes,I am too very eager to know what is there for Matt after the tour.If the news are to come after tour,well,the only way coping with that is to drool and watch the utube clips, hopefully there will be a lot from the tour.. geek
