As much as I'd love to hear So Small and Georgia hearing 3 brand new songs would even be better!

I would love to hear Georgia again. I would think a lot of people would like to hear it again so I'm sure he will do that!

I'd love for him to do LGIO and maybe a Gavin cover!!!

I'm almost glad i'm not going to the tour (hum, that's a lie...ignore it, lol) because if he sings 'In Love With A Girl' or 'Chariot' i'm pretty sure i wouldn't survive.
It would be a pain to send my body back to Brazil and stuff.
It's probably better for me to stay here

Hm. I can see him singing either Georgia, or So Small. I remember he tweeted asking what funky song he should open his set with, so I'm thinking he'll choose something fast for his first song.

Maybe, anyway. I have no idea, though. haha, I just can't wait!

Well Matt posted on his facebook that he is leaving for LA and that he needs to learn his lyrics so LOL I'm thinking it's a song he doesn't even know. I hope we get a lot of Matt time on the piano. I know in season 7 they played instruments for one another right? Well just as long as it doesn't take away from his solo time!

People obviously know what a great pianist he is but he is also a drummer. He has actually played drums longer. He made a comment in some interview that he might jump on the drums at some point. I must admit, I will take any extra time with him - even if its playing drums for Danny's number (Danny is by far my least favorite on the show)>

I would love to see him on the drums as well but I have to admit the piano playing is so much sexier for me. There is just something about a man playing the piano but yeah I hope he gets on the drums too!

I saw that too, Jenna! It made me really excited that we might be seeing something new from him on tour! I can't wait until the day we find out what songs he chose to sing on tour Hope that all of our requests helped him!

Thank you for the news! It is so exciting,can't wait to hear what the new song(s) is! Matt and piano for me.

Not going to toot my own horn, but I asked him on uinterview.com whether he would consider playing drums on tour! So if he does...y'all can thank me!

I hadn't heard about his FB update...so cool! I remember Season 5 Elliott Yamin sang "Never Too Much" and in the early performances on tour he had his lyrics written on his hand. So I think that the song they do that is non-Idol is oftentimes picked for them? Someone suggested on his facebook that he BEATBOX, so I'm kind of hoping he does that a bit as well in a group performance. We'll see

I am super excited for his performances on the tour. I think it's easy to see that Matt is an incredible entertainer. He like no one else will be able to get the crowd into his music, I know it. I can already see people leaving the show impressed by our Matty G.

ITA w/ this. I also think that once he puts out his album (I know he will do this) that he's gonna make tons of money on tour b/c of his incredible ability to entertain people live. I read somewhere that watching the performances on tv takes away a lot of the excitement that is experienced when watching it live (obviously). I think that once people see Matt perform live, see his passion, & see how truly entertaining he is, they'll want to keep coming back for more!
