Love the pic from the tour program -- omg, does he look like that on purpose? That's one of the hottest pics of him I"ve ever seen!
And I totally relate to the lady's comment as he's walking away! lol! Perfect!
And to keep up this same happy note -- check out this review from the SF Chronicle
The reviewer is a snob, like most art critics are, and doesn't *really* say anything good about anyone, except-----wait for it---------------
Quote :
Giraud was a standout in the pre-intermission set. The charismatic singer had a populist Rowlf-from-"The Muppet Show" thing going, following a rousing Black Crowes-y version of "Hard to Handle" with "Georgia on my Mind."
"I can't believe I was doing this in a hotel lobby a year and a half ago," Giraud gushed.
With a little luck, he won't be back there a year and a half from now.

Yay for a great review. Much better than the other one I read but someone please explain to me what a populist Rowlf - from - "The Muppet Show" means?
I think it's great that he made a point to specifically review Matt's set while he didn't for the majority of the other idols...that says alot! Matt is winning over so many people and I couldn't be happier! However is anyone else sick of the Adam Lambert worshipping? There are other Idol's up their besides the exalted one. I feel so sorry for Kris! I am so glad Matt didn't win.
Thanks for posting it Flicker. Flicker I am desginating you as my top wingman! I am so glad people are starting to post things they find. It is getting exhausting trying to find all Matt stuff on my own. Thanks everyone for making this a great place to come!

OK, can we have some kind of poll on this? Who else wants to have this quote as the unofficial motto of the Giraud Squad/ Matt Fan Club? I hate to see him go, but I love to watch him walk away.
I confess that ever since Matt wore those tight jeans during his Let's Get It On performance, I always get distracted from his singing and start focusing on his, er... pants! Matt is getting hotter every day, as if it's even possible!
Oh, and I was wondering about that reviewer calling Matt 'a populist Rowlf', too. I remember that Rowlf was the cute dog from The Muppet Show and was the resident piano player. So I guess that's a reference to Matt's skills, but 'populist'? Is he comparing Matt to a singing puppet? I hope he's not saying that! At least that reviewer gave Matt some credit, saying he was a 'standout' and 'charismatic' and shouldn't be playing in hotel lobbies anymore. I'm glad that Matt gets to close the first half of the show because he's not being compared directly to Adam. Some people are saying that they're disappointed when Kris comes after Adam because he has so much less energy.

Aww Jenna - I'm sorry for being more of a receiver than giver LOL
The crowd stays up on their feet for Matt who does a great job with his first number. I am not that familiar with the song but am excited anyways. I think he introduces “Georgia..” by saying that it’s for his die-hard fans who would like it? I wouldn’t consider myself a die-hard but this was the song I was waiting to hear him do. He does an awesome job. I read reviews saying that he kinda loses the audience, but I don’t think it’s that- it’s just that “You Found Me” is a slower song so I can’t imagine anyone really rocking out to that. I also have to mention that there was a big Matt fan behind me that was really screaming for him and since she was the only one in my section, I decide to scream to join her. My cousin likes his voice but not his set.

How about, "We hate to see him go, but love to watch him walk away". IMO that sounds like more of a "group" motto. Either way - love the sentiment!!

Totally agree about the motto and the jeans from LGIO (the pic from that video was previously my Avi until I found the new ultra sexy Matt from the Tour Book). I couldn't agree more about Matt's placement in the show. I think he's THE standout performer from the first half. MANY reviewers are reviewing each half of the show separately and that's a big benefit to Matt. Equally as important, the attendees are left with a GREAT impression with Matt closing out the first half of the show and that's reflected in the twitter/blog reviews.

Lisa I so loved this!! I can just picture this moment. One of the benefits of living alone is you can totally act looney over Matt and no one will care!!
I have a cat too, and currently live alone, and I think my cat Gracie has actually become jealous of the computer! Since my Matt-addiction started she will get up on the couch and stare at me and then if I still don't give her attention she will actually climb onto my laptop. She has never done that before!! I wish I could read her mind sometimes, well maybe not!---
Haha Gracie..I knew you would like that! I agree, my cat is fairly young (2 yrs) so she still wants a lot of my attention but lately its been waning.. but I don't see this obsession stopping anytime soon! my poor zoeyyy

I have been waiting for someone to post a clear video of Hard to Handle that includes the beatboxing. And how ADORABLE is Matt in that introduction video? OMG! He's so cute when he's just goofing around. This is one guy whose smile could light up a room! LOOOOOOOOOOOVE!
There were a lot of screams when his video first appeared on the screen, but even more screams when he started to play the piano. He sure knows how to work a crowd!

I saw those videos of Matt meeting the fans after the concert. Further proof that he really is The Biggest Flirt! He certainly knows how to charm those ladies!
That lucky young lady got a HUG AND A KISS from Matt. If I heard correctly, I think she was wearing a t-shirt with Matt's name/picture on it. So if anyone is attending a concert and is hoping for a kiss, you better wear a fedora, a Matt t-shirt, hold up a Matt sign, and anything else with his picture on it!
I wonder if any of the other Idols have been giving out kisses to their fans? I know that they all do hugs, but maybe Matt is the most generous? SWEET! I guess it's a good thing for us that Matt doesn't have all the bodyguards and handlers that Adam and Kris have with them all the time.

Actually, if I heard correctly, she was wearing a Glambert Tshirt. I'm sure she's a Giraud fan now!

LOL he is so great with the fans. Did you hear when that lady told him he was so hot tonight? LOL he said in this funny cute voice..."so were you girl". Geesh if I didn't love him enough before this tour I am definitely head over heels now!
