I'm not sure if there is a cellcert tomorrow. I had heard that Rickey didn't find anyone but that was a few days ago. Does anyone know? I will post the links just in case...

I know rickey was saying in the blog chat last night (or rather sunday night) that he still didn't have a volunteer for the cellcert. IDK if he found one since then, if not matbe we'll get lucky and have something work out at the last minute like it did at the last show...

I was actually just coming here to ask someone to do this for me because I am going to pick up my little boy tonight who I haven't seen in a week and a half so I miss him and I'm excited to spend sometime with him. I feel I am letting you guys down. But I will come home and begin the search later tonight! So if anyone can post the concert tweeters I'd appreciate it. I usually just get them from MJ's.

In case you all haven't heard by now, Rickey is cell casting the show tonight. Lil is up now, so you still have time to login for Matt's set. Just to warn you, sound has been especially bad tonight, but it seems to be improving!

According to some of the fans who post on Idol Forum, Matt and Michael were the only Idols who came out to meet fans before the show! There weren't any mentions of anyone else going outside. Michael tweeted that none of them were allowed to meet fans after the concert ( something about the location of the venue not being able to accommodate all the people waiting outside?).
Matt certainly is doing everything right in order to earn a a record deal. He has impressed the audiences with his energy, piano skills and vocals. He has been communicating frequently with AI fans via Twitter. He always makes time before and after the concerts to sign autographs. Why haven't any record companies seen Matt's potential to gain new fans?
And yes, Matt is up to #3! He can't believe it himself! AWWWW, he's still so humble!
And I know some of you are Danny and/or Kris haters, but it warmed my cynical heart to see the support they gave Matt tonight on Twitter (especally Kris, who doesn't tweet frequently)! I knew that the Manny and Kratt bromances were still going strong!
From Michael, Anoop and Scott's Twitter pages, the Idols were having fun spraying silly string on some paparazzi waiting outside their hotel! Unfortunately, someone called Anoop a racial slur! WTF? What a shame that has to bring down the fun the Idols were having after the show!

The most surprising performances came from two of the contestants I'd looked forward to seeing the least: MacIntyre, whose "Idol" catalogue was the sonic equivalent of watching software download, and Matt Giraud, whose previous repertoire consisted mostly of songs he couldn't sing.
Their sets Tuesday night were phenomenal. MacIntyre's voice fit both of his immaculately chosen songs — "Bend and Break" by Keane and "1,000 Miles" by Vanessa Carlton" — like a glove. Meanwhile, a faux-hawk-bedecked Giraud livened up his act with snappy patter (which sometimes veered toward both cheesy and grating, which seems oddly appropriate) and an innate knack for connecting with the audience.
Both are also stellar piano players, a skill they demonstrated with gusto on a dueling-pianos version of Billy Joel's "Tell Her About It."
Well don't know what to think of this one. Pretty good review.
