THANK YOU!!! finally someone with a brain. THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN MATT!!! When Kris was singing this I was just cringing and it wasn't because I thought Matt should have been singing it. Kris killed it and not in a good way. He just doesn't have the vocal power for a song like Apologize. And can you say...ummm Kris better stick with the guitar because you are no Matt Giraud on that piano!

Thank you for posting this article!(: Maybe in the future Matt will sing it and play piano. It is way more of a Matt song. Maybe Kara and Randy were thinking about Matt when they chose it. Possible. They both want a little Matty. (;

Yeah, I like that they saw that the song was better suited for Matt. But what was with the little added, "than anyone with a chance at winning American Idol?"

Are they trying to say Matt didn't have a chance at winning? Who knows...maybe I'm paranoid at the Matt jabs in the media.

Maybe it was toward the ones who are still in the competition. Hm.

I took it to mean that the idols who were left in the competition had no chance in hell of singing that song well unlike Matt.

Ahh yes, Matt would've killed Apologize, and I think he would've had the SMARTS to switch it up in his Matty way. Remember, this is the guy who made Part Time Lover sexy! Kara and Randy obviously miss Matt. Sorry, Kris ain't cuttin it!
