Letting everyone know nice and early!

Yes, #signmattgiraud NEEDS to happen (now more than ever) for our guy. Mattgnow (twitter account for matt updates follow them if you don't already) are trying to rally up people who will trend for Matt's hometown shows, and decide on what to trend. Apparently Matt wants #signmattgiraud to trend:

So we can do it this time right?? I'll try to keep this thread updated with more on the time they will start and whatever else, but I know alot of people (Matt fans) read this site and it would be great if you can pitch in (however much you can) to help. Y'all know I will be there (and have no mercy on my followers) on the 26th I'll probably start pretty early (2 o'clockish) if I can and stay with it until twitter kicks me out. I will be preparing to go back to college on the 6th, But I'll still help out as much as I can. HOPE WE CAN MAKE THIS HAPPEN AGAIN!!

Well Lana, Michael Slezak is on board. He just posted that he will have Matt's mini-idolatry up at Midnight and added #signMattgiraud. Love it.

I've read that putting #signmattgiraud more than one time in the sentence prompts twitter to toss it out as spam. If this is true, then we need to get the message out for everyone to stop doing that. Most of the tweets I've seen have it multiple times in each one. Anyone have any ideas around this?

Hey...so I think part of the reason why it failed on the 20th was becasue it was too spread out...I know that lots of people were doing it throughout the day, but maybe it would be more effective to pick a time and just make one really big push. Also there are some twitter usernames that will RT what you say...Egypt I think we all discovered, but I'm sure there are many more...just tonight someone RT'ed me because I used the word awesome. So maybe if we can find some more of those it might help. And lastly, I don't think that it is the amount of times that it is said in a sentence, but rather the amount of tweets it is said in. So once per tweet is enough to do the trick...anyway, hope we can do it this time!

If that is the case my efforts were pretty useless last time,lol.
