O.M.Giraudddd...This is like such a awesome Video!! I think he definitely put alot more PUNCH in this final H2H ....I loved how he talked to the audiance during the song!! Epic Love for him!! I can NOT WAIT to see him in concert by himself!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't know what Matt's trying to hide...he looks like he's probably pretty fricking amazing shirtless. I can't believe we couldn't get a shirtless pic of him during tour....what a shame.

That was fun - but not nearly enough Matt!!! Also, how obvious is it that Adam "stuffs"? That looked really strange

Matt Giraud gave an impressive performance combining virtuoso piano playing and great vocals, and proved he is a professional ready for the big time. He also received enthusiastic applause.

Matt continues to impress me as the most under-rated of the Idols. It always struck me how on the show he seemed to be confused by his bad critiques. As though he thought that he was at least as good as others who got better judges’ response. I remember Adam saying that Matt was incredibly talented (I think that’s a quote) and the others said that when they were hanging around the house, Matt would play piano and they would sing. So I wondered whether there was more to Matt than we saw on the show. I think the tour proved that to be true. In fact, while some reviews have said that the order of the top four performers should have been switched around, I never read a review that said that someone other than Matt should have been the headliner of the first half. I do think, however, that Anoop is the star of the group number.
Opening with Hard To Handle Matt was insanely good. Standing at the piano and playing riffs and runs he gave off a Jerry Lee Lewis vibe – his piano playing is good, but very, very sloppy. It would behoove him to play accurately as well as dynamically, but regardless of missed notes, he’s a great entertainer – already – and why hasn’t he been signed? Georgia was smooth and silky and lovely and putting on his trademark Fedora midway was a cute touch.

Hmm,Jenna?

You do know that Matt has only been playing the piano for 5 years and that he has never had a music lesson and is totally self taught? Pretty damn impressive IMO. My ears never heard sloppy piano playing and I went to 5 shows. Scott IMO is not nearly as good of a player as Matt. Technically he is good but he is so robotic and nothing like Billy Joel at all whom I have seen live 3 times.

Matt, I thought really stood out, a great performer.

My comment about Matt’s sloppy piano playing is only an observation – I admire him tremendously self-taught or not – he is simply manic on stage, and super-exciting to watch, but he’d probably be the first to tell you he doesn’t hit all the right notes.

Also, I prefer Matt’s piano playing to Scott’s. Scott is just really not dynamic to me, for singing and piano, it’s boring. But YMMV, of course.

As we say around here, a couple of us being professional musicians ourselves (that wouldn’t be me): Miss one note, it’s a mistake; Miss two, it’s jazz.
Whether someone likes or dislikes, it's totally up to that person. But that observation on Matt's piano playing, I find strange. I think I've seen most of his performances on youtube and I found only one missing note so far. It happened in the 1st verse of you found me, that was a clear miss. But if that person is talking about other performances, I can't agree. Besides, how could you even say if it's a miss or hit if he's doing that much improv and changing melodies up every time like he does during last part of Hard to handle and Georgia intro? Hello, freestyle play? All I can say is there's no such things like given key in his playing and his improv always makes sense to me.
