Hey everyone! This is Jennie, or Jenbean87 from the message boards! Wow, I didn't know this place came about! haha. Do I sense a new addiction?

About me: I'm 21, from Ohio. I saw above someone is an English major at OU. I'm also an English major! I have been finding it hard to figure out what I want to do with my life career wise, though. Lately I've been looking into health technology because getting a better paying job soon is a must! I want to move out of my dad's house and in with my boyfriend of a little over three years. He's getting a little impatient with me because he's already settled into a decent paying job. I'm ready to start my life! Right now I work in a doughnut shop! It's actually a really fun job. All my customers are senior citizens, but I love all of them. They've got my back if anyone gives me trouble. I can't eat the doughnuts though because I have type 1(juvenile) diabetes. I've been dealing with that for a few years now.

I first noticed Matt's talen obviously through his audition. I searched for him on youtube to see how others felt about him. To be honest, during the top 36 my first choice was Danny, though Matt wasn't far behind. But, as the competition went on Matt continued to blow me away, and there was not going back.

You guys are really awesome. I can tell this is going to be fun place to be at.

What's great about having our own board is...I feel we get to know one another better. I loved reading all of your introductions. Hopefully we can spread the word and have this place hopping, supporting, and loving Matt for a long, long, long time to come.

Now we just have to figure out Makeupartist's site so we can go even bigger and better. So if anyone knows how to create a site send Makeupartist a PM.

YAY! The new Squad board is up! I'm so excited I kept my same username as on the "My Idol Forums". Glad to see a lot of you guys here as well! This looks like a great home for us...especially after idol is over.

I'm 23 years old and just graduated from college last year. I'm a first-year teacher of Reading in a Middle School It's fun on most days, but it's challenging, too. Shout out to all of you fellow teachers/english majors

I first started liking Matt the minute he was on idol! I remember seeing that he is from Kalamazoo, and immediately I smiled because that's where my boyfriend (of 4 years <3 ) is going to Grad School right now!! So of course I knew I had to keep an eye on this Matt Giraud.

Week after week I was trying to decide who my number 1 person was going to be on idol. I always liked Matt, but I wasn't officially hooked until about the time he did LGIO. I knew then that Matt was the one I totally wanted to GIO with! HAHA.

So the rest is history. I started voting for Matt EVERYWEEK for the full 2 hours. I've liked idols in the past, but not like I fell in love with Matty. He is such a real, genuine, talented artist! One of those rare gems you hardly ever come across, so I knew I had to support him.

Plus, I need a break after working all day and I miss my bf who is 5 hours away in Kalamazoo for another year....so I need an addicting hobby

I fell in love with Matt's artistry the first time he played Georgia on my Mind, Hollywood week. I voted for him non stop after that.
I have never been so involved in American Idol as much as this season, and only because of Matt. I miss hearing and seeing him so much on Tuesday nights. My twin girls love him also. Their b-day is a few days after Matt's. They think that is so cool. My favorites are "So Small", "Part-time Lover", and "Lets get it on". Of course I like all of them. I can't wait to see him in Charlotte in August on the tour.

Matt caught my eye during his initial audition, but fell in love with him hard after Human Nature. He is like none other! He conveys such emotion and passion with the music and vocals he creates, it is magical and really really special. I love me some Matt Giraud.

Hey there Sqaud! I'm Amie, also known as ame501 on the boards. I recognize a lot of you, so that's awesome. I just turned 25 and I live in Melbourne, FL. About 25 minutes south of Cocoa Beach on the East Coast. I work at a financial planning office and have my own apartment with my two dogs, Mia & Miley.

I was a hardcore Season 5 fan and really detached myself after that......until I saw Matt sing "Who's Loving You." I missed a lot of the auditions & Hollywood week, but started watching when Group 1 was up. I liked him when he did "Viva La Vida," but voted for someone else that night.... ....then WLY came and I was hooked! He oozes passion and soul and to me, that is most important. The connection I feel when he's on that stage...there's nothing else like it. Not to mention, he's a gorgeous piece of man meat! OH THE THOUGHTS THAT I'VE HAD! My twitter followers know that I have plans.....LOL.....

Anyways, I am excited for the finale and even more excited for tour. Can't wait to start reading people's recaps and seeing pics!!!! Going to be a wild summer....Get. On. Board.

Anyways, I'm Holly (hollygotigers from the boards and twitter.) I'm 23 years old and I am from Memphis, Tn. I graduated from the University of Mississippi back in December with an Elementary Education degree, but I'm actually working as an 11th grade English teacher because I also have a minor in English!

Matt caught my attention during his audition. I just had the show on while I was studying. I was listening, but not really watching or paying much attention until I heard I don't Wanna Be. My favorite show is One Tree Hill and that is the theme song to that show so it caused me to look up and start paying attention. I thought "wow this guy has a really good voice!" So I made it a point to watch for him in Hollywood week, and I thought he was brilliant in Georgia! After that, it was LOVE! I love everything about that man, and I find myself loving him more and more after every picture and video i see!
