Maybe Rod Stewart is Matt's duet?

I'm not really a huge fan of Rod Stewart. He did release a standards CD not too long ago so I guess it could make sense. I'd much rather him sing with Jason Mraz.

Someone over in Matt's folder on AI boards said it was confirmed that Jasaon Mraz is singing with Anoop and Megan. Not sure where she got her information as I haven't found it anywhere.

I find it strange that we know who the top 4 is dueting with but not Matt. So I'm seriosuly beginning to think he is not dueting with an established artist. I am so nervous because I don't want him to be thrown under the bus. Regardless of who he is singing with I'm just really ecited to see and hear him again. I really hope we get to see him on the piano again as well.

I bet he is going to tear it down and people are just going to be like this:

'He should be in the TOP 2'

Hmm....would I rather see Matt duet with Rod Stewart, whom I'm not so crazy about yet is well-known, or just do a solo? I vote solo. I feel that if TPTB respect his talent enough to give him a few minutes alone on that stage, then that's a good sign.

Not that a celeb duet would be too shabby, either!

A solo of "Georgia on My Mind" while on the keys would be GUARANTEED Matty G awesomeness!!!! I can only wish this is what's gonna happen.

But... remember he twitted that he was doing a duet. So.. Please no Scott.

I just think is sad that #6 and #9 contestants get someone current as Jason Mraz and Matt is stuck with Scott or Rod Stewart. Just saying.

Hoping, hoping, hoping.... If Jason had a solo last year, I'm getting hopeful. Maybe it'll be a solo aside from the duet with a fellow Idol. And Matt with out the nerves (as he said on his Twitter) is really GUARANTEED success. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. But then again don't want to get my hopes up. Sigh...

Regardless of who he sings with he's going to be amazing. I can't wait.

Honestly, those celebrity duets are almost always NEVER good. They're often half-baked, unrehearsed performances. So if Matt's dueling pianos with Scott, that may actually be the best number the whole night because for sure those two are a lot more rehearsed together than is possible with a celebrity duet. Just a thought. I really just want MATT to shine!

Apparently it has been confirmed that Annop and Megan will sing with Jason Mraz.
Go figure... Those two don't go with Jason at all.
Oh well. I am not very excited about Rod Stewart if that's true. He is was past his time.

I just can't figure out, for the love of me why hasn't Matt's duet hasn't been named yet?
Dueling pianos with Scott will not give him a moment at all, he needed a moment in the spotlight not share it with someone who's not as talented as he is.
I am kind of bummed why TPTB didn't find someone more current for Matt. Sigh..

Ahhhh I can't wait to find out. Butttttt, I'm hoping for a solo! I know he reported he was practicing for a duet..maybe he and scott are doing something quick, then he'll get his solo? Haha this is what I like to think anyways
