New Info regarding Matt's lost finale performance

Nopw I am angry all over again. Urgghhh too long? Well maybe they should have not wasted 10 minutes on Tatiana, Norman Gentle, and Bikini Girl. Wow! I'm glad they thought those 3 warranted more time than Matt. I am heartbroken all over again.

In the past, the Top 5 have had a bigger role on the finale. While I understand things happen and you have to roll with it, I think American Idol should let Matt record "Black Magic Woman" and put it on iTunes. Matt wants to do more soulful rock but this song highlighted the funky, jazz side of him, which he excels in. Maybe he should sing this on the Tour.

I agree he was definitely the best 22 seconds of the show! I would love for him to record that...it would be amazing!

This is really upsetting. Why would they cut two top 10 finalists' like that. Then let them sing with Santana and cut out the rest of the top 13 with Santana. After Matt's 22 second performance....there is Kris and Adam side by with Santana and hogging the camera and performance. Haven't they had there turn all night long...why not let Matt and Scott have some air time. So pissed. Not fair. Really and truly not fair.

Yea it is still a huge disappointment for me to. But Matt will rise above.

I actually think it's one of our own Giraud Squaders. I believe her username on the AI boards is 2kidsdogs, and on Twitter it's idolbeat. I put it together when I saw her real name on her Twitter account, and then the same name as the author of the articles. She must write a weekly column for her local paper. Thank you for "pimping" Matt for us, sweetie!

I'm pretty certain that 2kids2dogs wrote that article, too. I remember back in the season , on the AI board, she was talking about making a yard sign with a piano keyboard painted on it. A sign that looked like what she described was featured in one of those Walton Sun articles a little bit later. I've paid attention since then, and I do believe it's really her.

I sure do appreciate her. Those articles have been a very welcome addition to all the negativity we've seen written about Matt.
