According to the Grand Ole Opry website (http://www.opry.com/), this will be at the Ryman Auditorium. The two-hour show will feature Diamond Rio, Billy Dean, Connie Smith, Larry Carlton, Anna Wilson & Friends, and more.

What a wonderful opportunity! It must be a dream come true to perform at the Grand Ole Opry. And something about being in Nashville seems to bring out the best in him. This is very exciting!

Actually... Jenny (funnymonkie) found it. She sent me a text message. I was at work but I snuck away to start tweeting about it haha. I'm glad everyone is so excited. This is a big deal and a great opportunity!

I am so excited for him! This is an amazing opportunity and accolade for him! Not trying to sound condescending when I say this but I am so proud of Matt! He has come such a long way since his audition on American Idol! Then he was just a bar player with incredible talent and now he is an incredible musician headed towards an amazing career! I can't wait to watch his career take off!

It looks like the promotion for the CD is starting early. I think it is going to be like this from now until February 1 and beyond. Didn't they sound amazing last night? I hope they'll keep singing it all over the place.

Please, please, please go post a comment on MJs today about the Matt and Anna Opry performance video. I pushed real hard to get MJ to post that video because I thought it was important for people besides us to know Matt performed at the Opry. It would help Matt tremendously to show that MJ's readers are interested in what Matt is doing. Every time MJ posts a video, it gets lots of views for Matt and gets the word out about what he is doing. Positive comments show interest and motivate other people to watch the video.
