I can't wait to see your pictures!! It was so nice to meet you and your hubby!! I can't wait to do it all again!! I agree it was a great night, so much fun!! It was one of the best shows I have seen by Matt!! He was so relaxed, so happy, so loving it!!

Well I finally got to see Matt in person and it was worth the wait. The concert at Bay City was intimate and so laid-back. I can't thank Jenna enough for saving two fourth row - center seats for me and my husband. I had fun exchanging texts with her all the way up to Michigan and it was great finally getting to know her and Mary before and after the show.

Matt was so relaxed and chatty and seemed to be feeding off of the crowd, who was hanging on his every word. His voice was smooth and his piano playing was hot and being close enough to see the beads of sweat on his forehead was pretty hot too!

My husband has been so patient with me all along with my Matt-obsession, and always agreed how talented Matt is when I make him watch videos, but this concert totally made a fan of him. He actually got a little misty-eyed during Miss you Tonight and whispered to me at the end, "That song's gonna be a huge hit". He also loved Brand New Day. He was on his feet and moving with the crowd during every song and at the end of the concert said that he really hoped Matt was going to make it. He was blown away by Matt's piano skills and finally saw first hand what an amazing showman he is. We talked about the show for a long time afterwards (and it wasn't just me making him listen to me talk this time)

We were sitting right in front of Matt's dad and I got to talk to him for quite a while before the show. He was so funny and so proud, talking about Matt driving him crazy during car trips when he was a kid because he would sit behind him and play drums with his fingers on the back of his seat. He said he bought a van just so Matt would have to sit further back, but he could still hear him drumming. He told me he spent thousands of dollars on piano lessons for Matt and I laughed and told him I knew Matt hadn't taken any lessons. I asked him when they knew Matt had such an amazing voice and he said it was when he performed in a church talent show.

I wasn't sure Matt would come out afterwards since he had done the pre-show soundcheck and m&g, but we hung around and out he came. I got a hug from him and an autograph, got a picture taken and even got to chat for a minute. What a rush getting to meet him after all this time. I can't wait to do this again!!

Awww pasnthru I loved meeting you and your husband as well! LOL before you know it he will be posting on here and creating a twitter account so he can follow Matt! Tell him we have a couple of other great male posters!

I finally saw "If I Say Hallelujah" because everyone was talking about it. That piano solo is breath-taking. I was really surprised by it. To hear the crowd cheering in the middle of such a dramatic song was amazing. Matt's intensely focused expression is priceless. I am awestruck.

It really was breathtakingly beautiful and so full of passion and emotion! Definitely one of the most beautiful moments I have experienced at a Matt concert and there have been many of those! I was seriously in awe and mesmerized!

Aww Toni that was such a great review! I got chills reading it! That is so awesome that you and your husband had such a wonderful first show experience. Matt really is an amazing guy and performer, and there is nothing that compares to seeing him live. I just love him to death. This show was definitely one of my favorites. It was the perfect setting and atmosphere and Matt was on fire!!

I didn't realize until Jenna told me later that night that this was your first show. You sure did pick a good one to be your first!! It was cute watching you meet Matt, I could see how excited you were, you were all smiles!! I can't wait to see your picture with him and your show pictures. I was trying to take a picture of you with him but by the time I got my camera ready you guys were done. =(

I told Matt the same thing about Miss You Tonight the first time I heard it. I told him he needed to release it as a single because it would be huge. You're hubby's got great taste!! haha!

LOl Christina! It is my favorite too! Again, I have no idea what I was thinking...I probably wasn't thinking...but how could I, Matt was right in front of my face singing! My rationale was that we had it recorded already and I was saving room on the video camera for new songs/covers. Next time Jenna, just record it and don't listen to me, you know it's my favorite and I will thank you later! haha!

So funny!! At 0:44, I totally thought Matt Y sounded so like Matty G! Hahah! Then I realized after sooo many views that it's really Matty G's voice we're hearing! These guys seem to have so much fun together! They should formalize the relationship and start touring everywhere. Matt Giraud and the Sweet J Band!
