Agreed! I just barely made it through that Idolatry interview, trying to be objective, but I just can't condone Danny Gokey's existance in this world. He needs to be shipped to Uranus! It HAS to be the middle-aged, Michael McDonald/Bolton-loving, crazy cat ladies who latch onto a good widower sob story that are supporting him. There's droves of those kinds of ladies out there, sad to say! Both of them are on page 1. (Grr!) I don't know for you, but for me Danny's icon is not popping up but I can see his name.

Sooo for the past 48 hours I've not been feeling well... like "my bff might be driving here to roll my down the stairs, tie me to the top of her car, drive me to the doctor and tie me to the exam room table with a note saying 'Fix It.'...either that or kill me...and I will likely let her do which ever one it turns out to be without a fight" not feeling well. And I am no good sick. Hate it. I admittedly totally revert back to kid status which is evidently incredibly adorable, funny and annoying all at the same time. To top it off, I just found out from the local news that a small outbreak of swine flu has officially hit my immediate neighborhood. Though I'm pretty sure that's not what I have since I have no cold/flu symptoms, least far as I know...but if I get that thing I'm going to be soooo pissed, sooooo pissed...

...um, what was the point of this post again? Oh yeah, the point is/was, despite the fact that I feel sick as frick, I have still, in my crazy ass state of awareness, managed to use my reserved strength to roll over to my computer and vote for Matt for Mr. Twitter Universe pretty much as often as possible all the way up to 2:00am. I even found a totally legal (if annoying) way to vote for him twice without having to wait 20 minutes...if you knew me, you would know just how insane my doing this is, my bff is steady giving me the side eye as a result.

I mean, sure it might just be a crazy internet competition and a twitter competition at that, but really every little bit of positive exposure adds up, and this has already raised awareness about his twitter page/him a little bit sooo...

Also, I wanted to say that you guys have been doing a fantabulous job voting! I saw Danny speed past somehow (I'm keeping my mouth shut about that development for now, I only have so much energy at the moment) but Matt's made it into the top 100 and through the first round for sure...WOOOT!!!
