Meet & Greets??

So the 1st show of the tour is coming up in a little over a week, has anyone heard any local radio stations giving away meet & greets to the show? Or is everyone just gonna try their luck and wait before and after the show? I've never been to a show or tried seeing the performers by the buses but I plan on leaving work early and getting to the Baltimore show early to try and make eye contact with Matt And I'm still on a mission to get him to make an appearance at a local piano bar since their next show is in Atlantic City 2 days after, so he has time to spare

I have no idea how the radio contests work...it's often people who are related to people who work for the stadium the concert is held that get special access, or at least that's what I've seen/heard.

I've been to two AI concerts and both times I was able to see Idols after the show. The second time I was even close enough to get autographs! I think going early and late would be good ideas...I've never gone early enough so I don't know much about that. I'm hoping 3rd time is the charm and that I get to meet and get a picture with my Idol!

When are you going? I'm sure we'll get plenty advice as the show proceeds. Good luck

I heard the pfficial meet & greets where you need passes (the ones where you need passes) are very rushed. Best bet is to try getting by the buses in the afternoon. (: They normally get there around 1ish. Maybe earlier. After the show is usually more crowded and crazy lol, but it is an experience. (:

I'm going to the August 5th show in Baltimore, MD!! I'm counting down the days.....now if only I can find other stalkers to meet up with So 1ish, hm....that might be possible! I've never done this before so I have no idea what to expect! Can't wait to hear about other fellow Matt'ers and their experiences before my show!

Oh but you'r not alone! We are quite a few now and I'm loving it Great that u are going to a show - I'm very jealous

I'm not sure who exactly gives away Meet & Greet passes, but I do know for sure that the Idols themselves can give away PASSES to the AFTER-PARTY, which happens backstage right after the concert ends and before they walk out to the fences to go back ot their buses. I wish Matt would set something up for his die-hard fans to get these after-party passes. Last year, Michael Johns gave away 2 or 3 passes/show to his fans.

If anyone is going to ask for autographs before or after the show, please bring an extra copy of that "Sexiest Man Alive" cover. You can keep one with Matt's autograph on it and give him the other one. I think Matt would like it, but he'd probably blush, too! He's so humble! He needs to have a copy of that cover for his tour scrapbook.

I'm gonna try and print out those pics I made and give them to him at the Aug 5th show in Baltimore! Now that I know when to be at the venue to try and get any pics/autographs!!! I know there's TONS of things we're doing for him before the Aug 5th show.....but if anyone wants to add to that, I'll be more than happy to deliver everything at my show!!

I was wondering can you go to the venue where they are going to perform and get their autographs and such before and after the show,even if you don't have a ticket. Like, where do they go to get these great vids on youtube....when it shows them signing autographs and taking pictures. It just looks like it is outside of wherver the concert is that night. Is that possible?
