What kind of CD do you hope Matt releases?

I am loving his descriptions of the CD he is planning to release. Piano pop rock with a soulful twist sounds damn good to me! I can't wait!

Sounds amazing to me too.

I'm ready for the AI tour, but then i'm going to be eagerly awaiting a small venue tour with just Matt and his piano!!

I think he's totally go the right idea with the whole mix of piano, rock & soul...I think it will be a beautiful and unique twist. I just know it will be incredible!

I too will be greatly anticipating his own tour (even if it means he's opening for someone else to begin with)...since I can't go to the Idols tour, I'm going to be especially ready to see him when he comes around...THAT will be something worth spending money on!

And he said somewhere he wants to put a jazzy feel there too. This is gonna be awesome. I love piano pop rock such as Coldplay, which is one of my favorite bands ever. And i also like Alicia Keys style...so maybe he is gonna put those two together in an amazing album

You're absolutely right! I can't wait to hear Matt on some original music. Just the smoothness of his voice really shines on record so I hope that he arranges some great material and hooks up with some awesome songwriters. I really can see him being like The Fray or Gavin DeGraw, though I think he's kinda like John Legend where he doesn't have to sit at the piano for every song. I agree with Simon..."You could be great"

I want a jazz cd,soul cd,rock cd,blues cd. Then I would have gorgeous Matt for every mood! And I want it now.

I think he said he is going the soulful piano rock direction. (The Fray, Gavin de Graw).I say that's perfect for him and is current, that way can get played on the radio and attract new fans.

For the time being, Matt needs to stick to a genre and create a cohesive album. He needs to define himself as an artist, that is very important to start out there. JMHO.

I think he can do it. I am so anxious to see if any record label out there is interested in him. They would be crazy not to sign him. He has so much potential...
We haven't heard anything yet about offers, but let's hope that once he is in LA tomorrow, things start to get going for him. We needs some rumors about his record deal.
