Okay, so showtime starts and of course everyone freaks out when a pic of Adam comes up. So I yell as loud as I can when a Matt picture comes up, obviously I didn't win that battle.
Michael was first.....he kicked ass! I never would've thought he could pull of Neyo, well he did! I gave him an A on his performance.
Megan was next. LOVED her!!! I've liked her since auditions too but she definitely sounded waaaay better in concert! Her dress was amazing and she looked absolutely gorgeous. I don't even look like that and I don't have a kid, wtf?! She did an amazing job on Corrine Bailey's Put Your Records On. Wasn't familiar with the Amy Winehouse song though.
Scott. He did better than on the show too. Still not really a fan but I give him props, he was making jokes about not being able to see and how Ryan gave him that high five on the show. He's got a good heart and I love that.
Lil. She did awesome also.....a lot better than I expected. She definitely had crowd pleaser songs. Single Ladies was sweeeet. And she has HUGE boobs!!! I thought they were gonna fall out, shew!
Anoooop. Totally a college frat boy, it cracks me up. When he did Mad, like I tweeted, it made me think of Jeanine & Philip's dance on SYTYCD.....I'm a dork I know. Verrrrry good performance though. And My Prerogative was crowd pleaser also. One of my fave songs he sings.
MATTTTTT!!!!!! Okay I recorded his intro with his screen and the beat boxing, I had to.......I'm such a sucker for guys who beat box! He comes out and I'm freaking out but trying not to shake the camera too much b/c I don't wana make ya'll get motion sickness when you watch the vid! I recorded HTH b/c that's my fave song he does on tour. He effin kills it....his swagger when he sings it is too sexy. LOVED every second of it. Georgia was amazing also. Right on key with every note. I think I was focusing more on taking pics than listening to him unfortunately
I'm soooo mad still b/c hardly any of my pics came out clear b/c it was very dark lighting for his songs.....not fair. At this time, a lot of people on the floor were sitting....NOT THIS GIRL! Next was YFM, verrrrry good. Still not sure if I would pick that for the tour, I'm sorry, but I love that song and it's nice b/c everyone knows the lyrics to it so they can sing along with him.....but it just doesn't mesh with his other songs. I give him an A++++++ on his performance. When he's done I'm like freaking out b/c I finally got to watch his performance live and not on a 13 inch laptop screen! So b/c I was still freaking out, I totally forgot about his duo with Scott. My friend whacks me in my arm and was like um Megan it's Matt again. I again threw my phone down into my purse and start taking pics like I'm a photographer at a wedding. The people behind me were probably thinking I was crazy by taking pics of almost the same poses hahaha. Awesome duo. So sad we didn't get to see it on the Idols finale. Obviously, Matt was the better singer/pianist. Oh man does he work those keys!!!! makes you wonder what else he can do with those fingers.....oops, I'm thinking out loud again
Intermission, I hang out and drool over the pics from earlier that day.
Allison is the first to perform after break. She can really sing, I was really impressed. I've always liked her as well, but she definitely brought it for the tour. So What rocked. Totally fit her style.
Danny. Okay his choice of songs were the most random songs ever. First an MJ song, which I liked. Next was his Santana song.....wtf. Hated it. Like I tweeted also, mexican jumping bean gone wrong on the stage. What Hurts the Most.....I'm not gonna lie, I got a little teary eyed. That song just touches me everytime I hear it, no matter who sings it! Then he ended with My Wish, eh it was okay.
Um Adam, yeah, I'll pass this one. I'll just say.....it was loud, obnoxious, more makeup than the ladies AND he's gay.....why does he do straight guy moves on stage? If I offend anyone, I apologize, I love gay people....just not him.
Kris. He rocked also. Aw pocket idol.....lives up to that name so very well. The Killers song is sooo much better than No Boundaries but I could be a little bias b/c I love The Killers.
The finale rocked too, only paid attention to Matt as ya'll will see in pics. Oh crap, I forgot about Beggin!!! Definitely rocked. Once again, only paid attention to Matt.........he's definitely super sexy in this song. Those dance moves are to die for!
I don't even remember who was singing when I saw Matt's tweet to me, but I looked at my phone and I freaked out. Um for him to take the time out of his busy backstage bubble tweeting/funny voices to tweet me....that made my night even better. I was texting all my friends telling them to check it out!!!! Wish I could've acted more human around him though instead of an obsessive stalker fan
But yes, meeting him, getting a picture with him, getting his autograph AND getting a tweet.....by far the best night in forever.
Never waited outside afterwards b/c it was absolutely insane, not worth it. I got tweeted to let me know that Matt did come out again though
Everyone except for Adam, Kris, Lil & Allison came out. I can't complain though, I'm still on cloud 9
I hope everyone else who gets the chance to meet him & go watch him perform enjoys it as much as I did. Definitely well worth the money & time!!!!!!
