I love how Matt seems so much more confident and aware now. He really is growing and learning how to approach this whole thing the best way. This interview was great because Matt is his typical charming self, and the introduction is quite flattering.

Most important part of this interview for Me:

PopStar: What are your plans for the future once the tour wraps?
Matt Giraud: My number one thing is I can’t wait to get signed and make an album, write and collaborate with other people. I am writing right now so that is my biggest goal, to make music, stay busy, travel. I want to make really great music, which is my dream.

It's not saying alot, but I think this is the first time he has not mentioned the Yobi thing when discussing his future plans and instead focuses on Wanting to be signed, what he wants his music to be, and wanting to collaborate with other artists...Hmmm

I think something has happened with Matt's career path in the past couple of weeks. It was looking kinda grim there for a minute, but I honestly think the boost he got from his fans trending him on Twitter, signing petitions for him to get a recording contract, and the buckets of rave reviews he's gotten on tour have helped change EVERYONE's minds about our guy. I think Matt really believes that he's got that support now. Does anyone else feel this way, like something clicked? IDK, Matt seems really different now, injected with some new optimism or something. And now I'm babbling, so I'll just stop.

Thanks for posting Lana. I was actually wondering about this review and even sent the writer an email asking about it last night.

No, Ovenmitt you are not the only one. I also thought wow the tone of this interview sort of changed. More hopeful in a way. He actually seemed for the first time like he thought he would be signed rather than repeating he is in limbo and promoting Yobi TV as his after Idol project...Thank God! It even kind of made me feel like he already has a label outside of AI ready to sign him. Well IMO 19Evil are complete fools for passing him up in the first place. I am going to start thowing out positive thoughts...Matt will be signed!

I was just over on Mjs, and you would be surprised at how much Adam's fans have changed their tone on their expectations for Adam. Not long ago it was "rock God" "highest selling idol ever" "Future MJ, Elvis" "international superstar" Now they are all saying that all they ever really expected was for Adam to sell "a couple hundred thousand" his first week, and MAYBE if all works out well to go platinum by the end of christmas. All of a sudden Adam's fans never expected him to be like iconic or anything, they just want him to sale well enough to make enough money to live on and make a second album. My I womder why the sudden switch...Hmmmm

I just thought it weird that we are all getting more and more excited about Matt's future, and more and more sure everyday of this tour of his success, and Adam's fans are losing a bit of steam.

Uhh I like this new confident matt!! still humble and grateful to his fans but so much more aware of his gift and his insane talent! And yes - I JUST LOVED that he didn't mention YOBI but clearly stated this

ITA with both you ladies--- and this article makes me soooo happy. I love the way the author or the article starts off her describing Matt, making fans weak in the knees, swagger and all the good stuff. I just feel even more positive about Matt and his future---

I agree Lisa....I think this interviewer as well as many others are finally "getting it" about Matt. His future is going to be bright indeed!!
