YDKM back at #1 on ITUNES!

It's a great day to be a Matty G fan! YDKM rocketed back up to #1 on ITUNES jazz, and Matt has a couple hundred more twitter followers since he performed on AI a little while ago.

I know I just read that! That is so great and promising! Can U imagine if he would have sang one of his original songs wow! I am praying Idol is smart enough to let him come back when he releases his EP! So excited for Matt!

I guess his performance with Scott turned out to be a positive thing overall - but to tell you the truth it made me cringe to watch it. I'm sorry to offend any Scotty fans, but I can't stand to watch or hear him sing and there was such a desperate edge to this performance it was worse than anything I've seen him do. It kind of hurt my soul to see them performing together at this point in Matt's career.

That said, I'm so happy YDKM went back to #1 and that he has more followers on Twitter. I just know his EP will do really well!!

I am thrilled to see YDKM still at #1 after almost 2 days. I also saw it up as high as #140 on ITUNES overall chart yesterday, but it dropped off the top 200 a couple of hours ago.


We all would like to see Matt perform his own music on national TV, but I really think he got a lot of positive buzz from this AI appearance. I actually think that being the bright spot in a brutal elimination show may have helped him stand out even more. He was so amazing, even better than the AI tour videos.


I'm curious about the following tweet from Anna, that hints at an Ellen appearance.

Either they are already talking to Ellen, or Anna was trying to get Matt's fans to request that they appear on Ellen's show. Wouldn't that be amazing!

I've seen some tweets to Ellen requesting Matt and Anna on her show. I hope it happens!

The AI appearance is definitely a HUGE positive for Matt. Considering he doesn't even have his own single out there yet! People are grabbing YDKM after he mentions it on the show. Let's hope he gets another guest spot when his single or album's out! There's really no better marketing strategy than performing on Idol.

I can't stop rewatching his performance. I didn't mind Scott at all. Of course I'm focused on Matt alone! I love seeing what he's playing on the piano, this time crystal clear rather than on grainy youtube videos from the Idol tour! Matt was BURSTING with energy! It's like he was singing in an arena rather that that small studio, LOL! I love it!! It's an announcement to the world that he's a STAR and people watching have no choice but to agree after seeing that!

Well first I want to say I LOVED LOVED LOVED Matt's performance on Idol and if you look at alot of comments that ppl are making its like, "WOW! he's really improved in just a year!" Now we all know that he's ALWAYS been fantastic but its great that he is getting all this new buzz..even my co-workers that watched it were like Wow..he's really good..he was rockin it!! Yayyyyy!!! I was so damn proud to say.. Yep! that's what I have been telling you guys!! hahaha...

The other thing I wanted to say here is that I had already tweeted the other day that we ALL should start sending msgs to @TheEllenShow about having Matt & Anna on there especially after his rave reviews of his AI performance but when I suggested it nobody that I follow (from what I could see) did it so I don't know?? I don't mean we have to spam Ellen or anything but just like maybe twice a day (each of us) what does everyone think of this?? I know Ellen really likes Matt so I think it is definitely a possiblity if enough ppl show her we REALLY want to see him on there! I haven't been over here or posted for a long time..nice to be back!
