For those going to the show (or more than one show)

Who are you dragging with you. I feel like this obsession I have is not shared with any others. I'm going to one concert locally with my aunt who is a huge Lambert fan, but I can't imagine anyone wanting to go with me to another city. Do you have friends/family who are equally obsessed?

im havin problems findin people to travel with me too! but idc ill go by myself if i gotta lol. pretty much EVERYONE around here is a matt fan, but nobody wants to travel to another frickin town grrr

I'm going with my 2 cousins and a friend (who actually doesn't watch Idol at all, but she went to the last two concert with us haha). My 2 cousins love Idol, and Matt. They don't come on forums, though. Atleast they support, though. [:

My other friend just loves concerts, I guess? lol She's always asking, "So, who is that one??" lol, I'll make sure to make her into a Matt Fan by the end of the summer!

He is a closet Giraud Squad member!! I went snooping on his twitter account and he has tweets about how awesome Matt is, and I noticed he joined the fan page on Facebook!!

He will be fun to go with.. i just dont think he realizes what he's in for. I'm pretty sure he is just expecting to see the show and the show only. Little does he know we are getting there early and staying late to try to meet Matt haha!

I don't have any friends who are obsessed like me about Matt. I am going with two friends to the first Michigan show, they are big Idol fans. BUT they both like Kris. Ugh. The three of us went to two other Idol concerts and loved it. But this year is very different for me. I have so much emotion, excitement and anticipation about this concert that they don't get. They don't get how I can CARE SO MUCH about Matt and his music and his future.

Then I also have 2 tickets for his hometown show in Grand Rapids. I want so badly to go with another Mattaholic. I have a couple friends who said they would go with me (5 hour round trip). But I want to SHARE the thrill and love of that concert. I was actually thinking of posting here if a Michigan fan wanted to come with me. But then what if it was wierd and we had to be in a car together for 5 hours! I am waiting till closer to that show, hoping I meet another crazed fan to go with. But I still may post the offer!

I'm going with my sisters and aunt. They all like Matt, but no one's a HUGE fan like me. What I do know is that none of them are overly thrilled with Kris at all, so I won't have to feel too bad!

I'm going with my sister. She's what you call a "regular" AI viewer. But she always would help me vote when I was in my crazy-obsessed mode during the season. She definitely likes Matt, but she knows NOTHING of his awesomeness...she thought he was just too nervous on the show, she has no idea what she's getting herself into! Matt's gonna be a showstopper, I can just feel it. And now that this year we have much better seats, it'll be a better experience . Bring on August 20!

I have tickets to the Atlanta and GR show. I'm not sure how I'm getting to GR yet but I'm going to try my best! My daughter (14) is going with me!
