Matt's 01/29/10 show?!

Since I can't make it to the GR show with all you ladies this weekend....is anyone gonna get tix to his solo show in January?! I'm reallllly thinking about getting tickets, especially since they're so cheap. But I just wana see who else is seriously thinking about going??

I am definitely going Megan!! Even if I have to drive thru a blizzard to get there!! haha

I think Maci and SGR (since they live in MI) are checking into whether someone they know might have a special arts center membership there so we can all maybe get first dibbs on tickets!! but not real sure on this???

YES Megan start planning and saving now! you definitely have to come to this show since your missing the GR get together! We want to meet you too!! and its going to be so freaking awesome because its gonna be JUST PURE MATT!!!

I may have to take a "personal day" off of work. Of course, there's also the issue of not having any money, possibly driving through snowstorms, and getting lost, but whatever.....

My mantra - where there is a will there is a way. We're used to snowstorms in Michigan - the roads will be ready for you. Just ask for the day off right now!

I would REALLY like to be there but I am pretty sure that is our semester student/parent conference week on Thurs/Fri., and of course the cost of flying from here is an issue but..... I Will know more when I see our final calendar this week--- (I keep saying the mantra where there is a will, there is a way!)
Not only do I REALLY want to go to an ALL MATTY concert , but I REALLY want to meet some of you! Sometimes I feel so alone way out here- away from all the Matt-action!

Oh, I'm not worried about getting the day off. It's the driving and cost factors that would be problematic for me. But it sure would be nice to see an "all Matt" concert in person. *sigh*

So in that interview posted from GR, Matt said he'll be singing some new stuff and some old stuff and well... as soon as he said old stuff, I was forsure sold. Well as soon as you say Matt I'm sold hahah. I don't even know how you get tickets to this!?! Oh goodness, I really want to go.

Ok sgr and I have been talking about the solo show and if we should buy a season subscription so we will be guarenteed good seats. The subscription costs $213 so if we can get enough people who want to go to chip in for the subscription we can make it cheap enough for everyone and then be assured of good seats. The people who have a season subscription are given the option to buy tickets first and then the rest of the tickets go up for sale to the public. So we can either 1 buy a subscription or 2 wait until they go on sale to the general public. So who is interested? I know I want the best tickets possible!

I'm definitely looking forward to this Jan 29th show! I can't for a SOLO Matt show and getting together with all of you Matt fans!! If Grand Rapids was an experience...just imagine what THIS would be like!!

He-he, there is a jar in our hall table already with a label "money for mom´s MattG concert" !

Matt's going to have a whole lot of diehard fans at this show....the regular season ticket holders will be in shock! I am loving that people are willing to travel the country and around the world just for Matt. It really shows how much he is loved and I'm so glad he can feel the love from all of us.

With that said, I will probably be going! I think I'm working out some arrangements...but mainly I need to save up because GR was SUPER EXPENSIVE the first time around! This time, thankfully, the tickets will be cheap!

Is it just me who thinks it's crazy that next year is 2010?? Wow. Hope that is the Year of Giraud!
