OMG, Cindyy, I can't thank you enough for this! Matt sounds soooo good. It's very easy to tell when he's playing piano as apposed to Scott. They are both really good, but of course, I love the muscle, heart, soul and flair that Matt brings to it.

Seriously! Sending the link to radio stations (subtracting the backup ie Scott) definitely wouldn't hurt. Matt is so amazing, which he wasn't snubbed!!

Does anyone else think after listening to this a few times, that Matt is the FIRST piano solo and Scott is the SECOND? I mean, just based on the styles I've heard of each of them...that is my guess! But they are BOTH excellent! haha. LOVE IT!!

My question is...is it Matt who opens up singing or a recording of Billy Joel because it sounds just like Billy's vocie and then allof a sudden I hear Matt's. If it was Matt he definitely channeled Billy for a minute.

I agree I think Matt's piano solo is first because of the ending where he runs his fingers down the whole piano. The second solo has this as well but it's not as pronounced. Plus since he started the song of it would make sense that he started the dueling as well.

That's funny I was just telling my son this morning that one of the things I love most about Matt is that he is so versatile and that he has the ability to have many different sounds. What will be so amazing about his CD is that all of his songs will be unique and instead of getting a CD filled with songs that are interchangeable every song will sound different.

Well today I am excited to go to work because I just burned Tell Her About It onto a CD and I can't wait to hear it on something better than my computer speakers.

I agree Matt sounded amazing on Tell Her About It. It really is a shame we weren't able to see this performance or that other people weren't because I do believe he would have won over even more people!

I can't stop listening to this! Had they performed this on the Finale, it would have GUARANTEED a standing ovation! No way people could have stuck their bums on their seats on this one. How frustrating! I'm still very UPSET that they cut off Matt's glory. Can you imagine how sexy he would have looked on the big screen channeling his inner Billy Joel and playing mad piano??!!!

Sigh....moving on....

ITA! 'Member the article that ranked him #3? They called him the "Jack-of-all-Trades" b/c he easily can take on any genre of music. I have incorporated that quote into my siggy =)
