Yay! I am so excited he wants to do Gavin de Graw and 1R kind of stuff . He also once again said he wanted a band around him.. So perfect.. At least for me. That's the sound I wanted from him.
Hope he gets to do this. The record deal must come soon.

And didn't he seem super excited about working with Colbie? I really hope they are able to put something together, I think that would sound awesome

I am so excited about him working with Colbie... I hope she helps him land a deal.

This is one of my favorite Matt interviews now. You can tell that the interviewer reads the different Idol forums, since she mentioned the bromances and other fan discussions.
I would love Matt and Colbie to do a duet, and she's cute, too! He says they are 'good friends' , and that she's his 'favorite'. HMMMM...
Of course, Matt looks adorable, and he's as charming and funny as always!
I thought it was funny when she asked Matt if he tried to teach any of the other Idols how to play the piano. Apparently, she forgot that Kris even knew how to play the piano, even though he's done it on Ain't No Sunshine and Apologize. *BURN* I guess Matt is the only MEMORABLE piano player on the show! LOL
And I think it's cute how he reads the reviews and wonders, "Do they like me?" Oh, they all love him now!
