OMG not sure if this has been posted yet but this is amazing and you can hear us chanting sign Matt giraud at the fences!

Thanks so much for passing out the Cds, and getting the chant going All you guys ROCK!!

Matt was amazing at the fences in the afternoon. He spent a lot of time with our group. He gave extra attention to Cecilie and seemed very touched that she flew in so far to see him. I'll let Cecilie tell you the details.

As you can see by the video I just posted we chanted signmattgiraud when he came out! This too was great fun!

It's a shame this was cut from the finale. It was really amazing. Michael then sang "Suspicious Minds"...eh...yeah....then Anoop came out and they all did "Beggin" with Motown choreography which was pretty sharp. I was really impressed with Scott, and Matt had a little swagger to his.

His set was amazing, my favorite from the first half of the show. I could listen to “Georgia” on repeat- so soothing and soulful. The crowd absolutely LOVED him. You could tell how happy he was to be singing for his hometown. Way to go, Matt! SIGN MATT GIRAUD!

You ladies were absolutely right in guessing he's the one who has the final say as to what label he's going to work with. And he sounds so determined to surprise everyone with the music he will produce, I believe in u Matty G! Go Go Go!!

You ladies were absolutely right in guessing he's the one who has the final say as to what label he's going to work with. And he sounds so determined to surprise everyone with the music he will produce, I believe in u Matty G! Go Go Go!!

I remember a few people saying that they felt like the main hold-up to Matt being signed was that he wouldn't compromise too much of his musical integrity. I honestly didn't believe this at first because I just couldn't conceive of an up-and-coming artist delaying being signed to get a deal that they really wanted, But it seems like this is the case for Matt. In a way I'm nervous because that answer makes it sound like there was a possible deal offered and maybe if he had taken it he would be making an announcement soon, but he decided that it wasn't for him and he turned it down. I don't know. On the one hand I'm like take what the hell you can get Matt! And then on the other I'm proud that he is holding his own and really just want him to record music he can be proud of. I really hope that one of those lables that are coming to shows to see him decides to offer him a deal he can't refuse.

Another little boy said in excitement that he was hoping to meet Matt so he could ask him to sign the CD cover...I hope he got to do this! It really was an incredible experience doing this. I thought I would be embarrassed and hate doing it but I enjoyed it tremendously!

Jenna did an amazing job. Jenna and Lisa hit the pavement and handed out all the CD's. Dsouthie went around telling people to chant signmattgiraud - I told a few people here and there - still trying to get past shyness - so that's why I am so proud of these girls. Cecilie's SignMattGiraud shirt was a hit, no doubt! OUr chant was successful our meeting with Matt was amzaing.

Matt was amazing.
The whole entire weekend was amazing - from Sgr welcoming us into her home to hearing a street band playing hard to handle in Ann Arbor to going out to Monaco Bay in Kalamazoo to meeting Matt at the fences to the success of the jenna's plan to hand out cd's to spreading the word to signmattgiraud to our floor seats our view of matt on stage to meeting a special someone before the concert to getting our backstage passes! OMG What a weekend. It was more than anybody could ever wish for - greater than we could have ever imagined and the best part of all was meeting all these wonderful ladies that I have been talking to for months - and how much fun it was to hang out with other Matty G lovers and to all bond in such a special way - and that my friends was the icing on the CAKE!

Your so welcome Jenna! You know I'm always going to be more then ready and willing to do whatever I can to promote Matt! Cuz I just luv him so much! And I have to say that passing out those CD's was so fun for me also because people were SO appreciative of them..they were so excited!!..I felt like it was Christmas early! Everyone I was so proud of Jenna cuz she really came out of her "shy shell" and did great with this!

I'm short for time right now because I'm only on my lunch break and will type up more later on today but I just wanted to say that this whole weekend was one of the most unbelievable experiences I've had in a long time...OMG!! it was soo awesome and I'm brimming over with happiness from it all! ...and YES we ALL did end up getting backstage passes and got to "mingle" with Matt and the others for OVER AN HR!!! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT!!! :-))))) I got a GREAT pic with Matt and his adorable Dad and alot of other awesome pics that I will be posting soon! We just had so, so much fun! It was a very emotional experience going to Monaco Bay where he played (more details to come) and being in his hometown arena and to hear that love was just almost overwhelming but I ain't complaining ..I wish everyone on here could have been there for that! I'm so glad with Cecilie coming so far that everything turned out PERFECT for her also! Yayyy!!!

P.S. I'm sorry I did want to say one thing I forgot...I wish that SGR would have been with us when we got the backstage passes and would have been able to go with us but she already had prior arrangements with another friend of her's so we were separated from her...but her and Jenna did the burning of all of the CD's and worked very hard...Sorry SGR.. that you didn't get to go to the meet and greet with us! Hopefully we will all get to talk to Matt again at the January show!
