Gosh.. Let's all hope that what Matt said is true and is all a matter of time now. He said the two people who were in the audience were very important and that something will happen soon. Hopefully it won't be so long...

| Okay at first my heart broke because he said he is not signed yet but it mended a little when he stated that he thought something was going to happen & that it was just a matter of time. I am praying this happens for him. If it doesn't I will be devastated! WTF is the hold up? Don't these labels see how amazingly talented he is? How can they see him perform live and then not sign him immediately? I'm mean fro Pete's Sakes Danny is signed as well as Allison. Ok I'm going to calm down and think postive thoughts....
MATT WILL BE SIGNED! MATT WILL BE SIGNED!

| Ooh, did you notice he said...if things work out "with this label, then I'll move where I need to move."
Definitely label. Major label. And Matt WILL be signed, I just know it! Come on folks!

Definitely label. Major label. And Matt WILL be signed, I just know it! Come on folks! Me too. I am still very positive. Otherwise why did Matt tweeted anything for that matter. If things would seem so uncertain why would have said anything? I also heard the word label Cacity so I am thinking the hold up is still that he has to go to meetings after the tour is over and then he will signed the dotted line. But I believe the major offer has already been presented to him. I just hope all this procedure goes fast. For us all... Being a Matt fan is such a rollercoaster ride for sure. Up and down, up and down

| All signs are pointing that he will be signed after the tour ends, a couple days after, or a week after the tour ends.

| I've got to agree with everyone who is feeling positive vibes right now. I think it's clear that he has been approached by a label with serious interest in signing him but now the details need to be worked out. They were in the audience only a couple of nights ago, it's not like they were going to come up to him afterwards and hand him a contract to sign right there and then. The lawyers need to get involved, especially for Matts sake.
He made a comment during the Indy interview with those Tweens that it's important for him to show that he can be consistent. I'm guessing that he had label interest much earlier but they told him they wanted to see how the tour went to see if "he could be consistent " since it's what plagued him during the show. I'm guessing they liked what they saw.
That is a lot of speculation on a subject I know nothing about but I figure that's what a fan board is for.

| And didn't you all just love how he stated ""I wanna do something bigger than playing the keyboard in somones band...def wanna be like the frontman now" He is now being much more aware of his own potentiel - and being ambitious. I like that about him! I really think these idol-live shows have done him good - experiencing all the positive vibes, great reviews - he has grown! He has busted his butt off these past few months - I am soo happy that this seems to be paying off!! GO MATTY!! | |

But why not damnit I would...LOL! Patience has never been one of my virtues! Hell I think he should have been signed during Hollywood week singing Georgia. I believe he will be signed as well but geesh I wanted an announcement yesterday!

| Yes! I finally got the link to work. Maybe YouTube was being funky this morning. Prolly clogged up with all the peeps wanting to watch the Kanye/Swift VMA scuffle. Anyways.......me likey! I agree with whomever mentioned Matt's inflection on the word "signed". That sounded like a little hint, like, not technically signed, but on the verge. Oh, to know all the behind-the-scenes goings-on with this Matt record deal! Maybe one day we'll know all the details, like, were there two labels fighting over him? Did they have contracts written up for him to sign the day after tour ended? What were the negotiations between Matt and 19 like? Matt should make a documentary or something, for all us theorists out there. My only anxiety now is that Matt gets a publishing rights contract in place as well. I would hate for the music he writes to be used commercially and him not receive any royalties from it. I know I'm thinking far into the future, but if everything pans out like we are hoping it will, it'd be nice to see Matt get the rewards he deserves from his hard work, just sayin'. But, I'm sure this is something that's been discussed between Matt and his entertainment lawyers, eh? | |

| I'm 110% confident that Matt will get signed. He said it himself, just a matter of time.
Is it just me, but I found this interviewer extremely annoying. She was pretty condescending and insulting to Matt. Uggh. Someone put her in her place, please..on a stick!

I agree mattyfan about the interviewer. She was downright rude at times. It was good to hear Matt stick up for himself. Playing keyboard in Kris's band....whatever!!!!!
