Ok...so I would like to get some personal experiences from people that are hardcore Matt fans or maybe have been converted as Matt fans after the tour! I want to pick a special day of the week and call it "Fan Friday" maybe, haha. And just get a fan to state why they believe Matt should be signed - including maybe their personal experience meeting him or a way his music has touched them?

What you guys think? Any offers for this friday?? hehe.

Great idea Cacity! Everything helps! We have to maintain the Matt interest now that the AI tour is over.

But.. I am still hoping all of this effort is short lived just because Matt said it's all a matter of time now until something happens?
Guys? How long do you think will it take for us to get an official announcement?
I am just wondering if Matt is back in Kzoo when is he going to go to NYC or LA to sign those papers or go to meetings.
If he does stay just a short time home and flies to one of those cities I am sure he will get signed then.
This period of time is going to be a bit nerve wracking! I just hope it happens soon. After his tweets and his bubbletweet I just got so excited! I just hope he can give us one more hint soon!

Yes, we hope the "Sign Matt Giraud" blog will only be making a statement for a little while - as record companies keep speculating interest in Matt. But...I just want to also say, even WHEN Matt is signed - that doesn't guarantee success. He still needs to sell lots of records and win over tons of fans. Creating this "blog" is just a way I hope to give Matt more exposure.

And a few of us (those that are helping me w/ the blog! It's not just me, Jenna! haha) have discussed that when Matt is signed - we can just change the domain name to something creative like - mattissigned.com or mattgiraudblog.com, who knows! It's just fun to have a blog community dedicated to supporting Matt and his music.

We came up with some weekly themes for each day, I figured I'd post them here so you guys can understand what we'll be doing over there! haha.

Music Monday - This weekly post will include one of Matt's songs from American Idol, from piano bar, from first 2 CDs, whatever! We'll just have fun discussing and enjoying a Matt song each week. Feel free to post some suggestions too for the next week's song choice.

Trending Tuesday - Each Tuesday until Matt's signed - it would be great to continue the effort of trending #SignMattGiraud. To show that we are still serious and committed to seeing him signed. Also continue posting it on Youtube vids, and comments on forums, articles, etc.

Wacky Wednesday - Hehe, this one might be my favorite. Each Wednesday a new "wacky" photo, video, bubbletweet, (whatevaa!) will be posted of Matt. Also feel free to find YOUR favorites and leave a comment with a link to them.

Thankful Thursday - A day to post all the things we are thankful for. It's good to remember what we are grateful for, even when things might not be going exactly as planned. We'll make a post and then feel free to leave a comment on what you're thankful for. (Today's post: http://signmattgiraud.com/2009/09/17/thankful-thursday/)

Fan Friday - Ok, this one IS probably my favorite. Each Friday, a new Matt fan will be "featured" sharing a little bit about who they are, how they came to support Matt and why they feel he should be signed. It'll be fun - especially if Matt gets to see it. He can get to know his fans a little bit this way.

Ok...just wanted to share that with you all! I hope you guys will have fun participating in the blog too.

P.S. I vote for us having a weekly "chat" what do you guys think? Pick a day...I'm there. I miss talking with you guys! And the tour's only been over for two days! haha.

If we're picking a night for Chat how about Tuesday in honor of AI - I figure that is the night that most people stayed up to vote for Matt.

pasnthru...LOL..I had to really at this too! good thing I don't have a significant other right now..I keep thinking when is this going to end?? probably never!

Anyways Cacity I love all your ideas and the whole weekly planning thing..I will try to partake as much as I can..sometimes it is hard for me because I don't have a PC at home so I have limited computer time but I'm glad you have thought of ways to Keep Matt Mania Alive!!!

I like all your ideas and especially the weekly chat- Tuesday works great for me, but I may join late as all you ladies seem to be 3 hours ahead of me. I love it too - And well we can't get enough Matt- so keep the sites comin LOL
And pasnthru - LOL - my hubby feels the same way - "Okay now you been hooked up on that laptop all summer trough - you went away to Michigan - now - is it over and done with?"
WELL DUH!! NO! because this is when the fun begins - Matt will get signed, he will tour, he will put out music - time for some serious fanbehaviour
