People searching Matt on google

I have been advertising for the new site and I'd thought that I would share with you guys some of the results.






The graph represents the number of clicks the site gets from the advertisement. As you can see since the tour the clicks have gone up. Hopefully this means more people are falling in love with him and searching his name on google.

I'm not sure if anyone has been handing out CD's and the handout I made but I think this could go a long way in helping Matt. So if anyone needs information on this PM me.

I would also like to point out that I am doing very little advertising because of the cost so my advertisement doesn't show up all of the time. From June 27 through July 4th there were 29 clicks. From July 5th until July 12 there were 64 clicks. So basically it has more than doubled. I would like to increase my advertisements but that may have to wait for a bit.

I think we should also maybe have a Google or Yahoo campaign to search for "Matt Giraud" as much as possible! We the fans were really successful at doing this for Elliott Yamin. More clicks means more people want to learn about him....which can only lead to further interest in Matt! Just an idea I thought I'd throw out there...haven't been able to come to the site in over a week, glad to be back

That's a good idea Janizzle. I google Matt everyday at least 5-6 times a day. Great to have you back! Make sure to check out all the concert threads for concert videos.

Maci I am going to continue advertising but right now I can't afford more than $20 a month.

This is random but interesting to me. I looked up on google how many hits each idol gets when searched. I searched each idol in quotation marks, like "matt giraud".

A few suprises:

Adam 9,370,000 (duh!)

Danny 6,910,000 (surprised at how many)

Kris 1,750,000 (surprised at how few)

Megan 544,000 (I attribute this to Caw, Caw and her big boobs)

Matt 442,000 (that boy is always in fifth place!

Anoop 375,000

Lil 282,000

Scott 259,000

Michael 216,000

Allison 177,000 ( I attribute this to the fact that no one can spell her name right)

Matt has 442,000 hits. He is a big ass celebrity! He probably had 127 hits before idol. AI really is an amazing show and launch pad.

How did you find that Maci? I think we should keep track of that number over the summer to see if Matt generates more interest.
