Apparently the irony of a Kris fan having the gall to call Matt's performance a "snoozer" is lost on that person. Kris is more coma-inducing than watching paint dry on growing grass! Y'all know how I feel about him; it's not a pleasant feeling. That might just be a little of the green-eyed monster within a Kris fan against Matt's awesomeness rearing it's ugly head. I mean, if Kris had only three songs in his set, then we'd all be flatlined! He's damn lucky (aside from the whole following Adam thing) that he won and gets the pimp spot of the concert. Otherwise he'd be just as underacknowledged as the first five Idols have been. I know it's been said umpteen times, but Kris is one lucky bastard for having won Idol. Of all the nights for the majority of the voters to pick him....

And even though I still firmly believe that it was supposed to be a Matt/Adam finale, I am so thankful that it didn't turn out that way for this exact reason. People are too blinded by Adam to see anyone else's talent clearly. I'm shocked that so many Adam fans have been praising Matt so openly on this tour. Probably because he didn't defeat their precious glittery god in the finale. But Kris as a foil for Adam only highlights how underwhelming he truly is. Again, I'm ALMOST sad for him, but he knew what he was doing as soon as he strummed the first strains of "Heartless" on that guitar. To quote Eminem: "Superstardom is close to post-mortem".

wow that is my thoughts exactly. One of my very dear friends is an Adam lover, but she likes Matt too. BUt she is gah gah over Adam and keeps going on and on about how sexy Adam is. One night she came over and we watched videos together. she watched Matt....I showed her some of is pics and tried to get her to see that Matt is waaayyyy sexier than Adam, but she sits here watching Adam's vids saying "Oh Adam"...and watches him doing the micorphone between his legs over and over and I'm like "WTF"...he's thinking about men, not a woman...LOL......I agreee...I find a man who flirts with women, who likes women to be way more appealing than someone who doesn't,but that's just me

I was watching an Adam video last night after the Tampa show because the Glamberts were all excited (via Twitter) that someone from the crowd had thrown a WHIP at Adam! Before you question my sanity, I tell ya it was my curiosity that made me seek out that Adam clip on YT!
I had already seen his performance of "Whole Lotta Love" on YT, so I knew what to expect from his set. But I had never seen his entire Bowie medley until last night... Boy, let me tell you I was laughing my a$$ off when Adam was doing his moves. Sorry, but whenever he did those hip rolls or groped his crotch, I couldn't help but remember all those cheesy dance routines from the BOY BAND era, circa the late 1990s/early 2000s! I know the Adam fans think this is sexy, but I found it HILARIOUS! I could see a bunch of teeny boppers being impressed by his moves, but why are so many grown women finding this sensual???
Seriously, it just seemed so out of place on an American Idol tour. Then I decided to watch a video of Danny's performance of "Maria, Maria" because Adam fans have been saying that Danny is trying to "copy" Adam's dance moves. After watching Danny, I saw NO SIMILARITY/ NO COPYING. I'm not a big fan of Danny's, but his moves were definitely basic salsa steps, and HE DID NOT "HUMP" the mic stand, unlike Adam who def. does it during WLL! Danny's salsa moves are pretty good for an amateur and in no way vulgar, which is more than I can say for Adam's dancing! I think the Adam fans are just trying to justify all of Adam's bumping and grinding on stage by saying that Danny does it too!

On your first point - I see what you're saying but I have always been too grounded in reality. If a man is gay, I have a tough time seeing him as a sex object for me. I have some trouble with married men as well. Now you can clearly point to my lack of reality in pointing out how young Matt is, but in general you get my point.
As far as Danny copying Adam - not that I would ever defend the Glamberts because for the most part they are certifiable - I think they were referring to the fact that Danny takes off his jacket. The funny part is, in as much as I dislike Danny, he has better arms than Adam.

I think there's a little more believabilty (if you want to put it that way) when women fantasize about the straight guys, like Kris, Matt, Anoop, Danny, etc. Whatever floats their boat, I guess!

A lot of reviews by fans have mentioned that the piano duel was one of the highlights of the show. How STUPID do the AI producers look now? Cutting out Matt & Scott's duet because of time constraints, but still having time for Tatiana's "Look at me, I'm crazy!" act? IDIOTIC! Some people were saying that Matt and Scott shouldn't complain because stuff gets cut out of live shows all the time. They referred to skits getting cut from Saturday Night Live at the last minute. But the situation with the piano duel was different because it was cut from the FINALE, which happens only ONCE A YEAR, and it was the last chance on TV for Matt and Scott to impress people in the music industry! GRRRRR... This still makes me furious 2 months later!
Great find Mattyfan. Seriously could he get any better? LOL I guess he can because he does every night! I loved all the little pauses! He is going to be so great in a solo concert. He is a natural born performer and is so at ease up their on that stage. I love his banter and love even more how he plays the piano while talking. It seems like he changes the intro to Georgia every night. He is such an amazing musician. 19Evil is so stupid for not snatching him up while they could!
Matt So, “Hard to Handle” blew the frickin roof off the place. He got TONS of love from the crowd after that. It’s definitely the best number of his set, and I can see what some reviewers say when they comment that it feels like the concert really starts with Matt. Though the others are pleasant and good-to-excellent on some numbers, Matt really gets the energy going with that song. Unfortunately, the energy is mostly sucked right back out by the end of his set. “Georgia” is really good, and shows his soulful side and piano skills (and dude has some mad skills on the piano), but IMO, “You Found Me” is possibly the worst song he could have picked out of his Idol repertoire to close out his set with. I would have much rather heard “Who’s Loving You” or “Human Nature” or “Let’s Get It On.” But that’s just me, probably.
