I wonder if Matt will be at the CMA's

He is going to be in Nashville next week and the CMA's happen to be in Nashville on Tuesday. I think one of the reasons he is recording this week is that it will be an easy time to make a compilation record since there will be a lot of country singers in one place for the CMAs. I would love to see Matt in the audience sporting a tux, or at least the black suit from Beggin.

It would be great to see him at the CMA's, especially in a tux! Although he could probably show up in a t-shirt and jeans and I would be equally happy!

That would be cool! I always watch the CMA's, so it would be cool to catch a glimpse of him in the audience or an the red carpet

You know, Matt might just get to be at the CMA awards on Wednesday night. I hope so at least.

Tonight he is at an another event in Nashville, the SESAC awards. Sorry to be so clueless, but anyone knows what are those awards for?Anyways, it seems to me he has met quite a lot of important people down there.

Ahhhh man, I hope he gets to perform at some local place and some record label people snatch him up quick!

I've been thinking lately that I wouldn't mind at all if Matt decided for a career in country! I LOVE country too. ( My music tastes are very diversified, heh!) so I think that Matt going that route could be a strong possibility.
You guys have to admit his performance of "So Small" was one if not The best of the whole season! Also, I remember Matt saying that Randy Travis told him he could have a career in country music if he wanted too.

So.. There just my two cents. What do you guys think of this option?

I also believe that is the same suit he wore for So Small - when he was chanelling Michael Buble.

I knew that suit looked familiar! He's still looking goooood in it As for going country, he has stated numerous times that he doesn't plan on it, but I hope he doesn't... I just think it's a little limiting, personally.

I don't think Matt would go into country music, he said so himself. I hope he sticks to piano rock-pop with a jazzy twist ala Gavin Degraw/Jamie Cullum. It seems anyone can be successful in country music. Country fans seem like a kind and welcoming bunch!

It´s the So Small suit! I believe he´ll be in the CMA´s too.
I think it´s great that Matt is writing with the person who just won Songwriter of the Year.

As for the CMAs, that would be such a thrill for him! I am very impressed that he's going to be working with Monty Powell this week, too. I feel like Matt is right in his element, being around other creative types who can appreciate his passion for music and his abilities. Is it too much to hope that this trip to Nashville is a looooong one?

I agree about filling out the suit nicely....the thighs seem a little tighter too

I have to say I still like his "old" hair better though. I've come to accept the hawk, but I still think he's more handsome in the "before" picture.

I'm very happy Matt is out of MI and in Nashville mingling with all the right people! Makes me smile seeing him standing on that "red carpet"! I don't think that is the same suit at all..I think the suit he is wearing in nashville is definitely black and fits totally different then the other suit..(its more tailored) ...but either way he looks so HAWT!!!! Love him!

Nashville seems like a blast for Matt!
After some googling I can understand that CMA´s is a huge event. Hopefully Matt will be there.

It was a great show! I seriously almost cried when Taylor won 3 times!
