Promoting Matt - let's brainstorm here!

I think "Sign Matt Giraud" is really not that long hazuki! And I think it's better to say his name, more of an impact!
I really hope the word spreads quickly about this idea. I thought the flyers idea would work better but whatever you guys think is best!

ETA: Can you imagine if the trending thing happens on twitter on Sept 6th combined with chanting idea? Ahhh! I am getting pumped.

Most people over at MJ's think Matt should have been signed before Danny.

Well I was using maci's phone last time and will probably being using a different phone plus our seats are in a different section. We were second row but hopefully the sound will still be great!

the easiest thing to do with all the social networking out there right now is to start a petition. once you start promoting the link to the petition you can get thousands of signatures. i think someone should start one.. there are plenty of websites to use, e.g. petitiononline.com

Hmm maybe someone can go over to mj's, Rickey's, IDF, and AI and post about this and ask them to chant sign matt giraud if they are going to grand rapids. I think we should definitely go with Cacity's plan of doing it after Hard To Handle right before Georgia.

I think the chanting thing is an awesome idea! I will be in GR with Janizzle and three others and we will be sure to let others know about it...and I can understand wanting to keep it from Matt (I just now went back and deleted my tweet about it) but it's too bad, because I think flyers would have been a good idea...we need some way other than just this forum to get the word out...anyway, I hope it works out...I think Matt would be very touched by the gesture.

Like I suggested someone should post something on MJ's, Rickey's, AI, and Idol fourm. Also we are planning on passing out CD's at the venue before the show and asking people to help with the chant. I will post something over on IDF.

Aww, that one is already on the Idol CD though...but I agree, its definitely a great one! If not that one, then I'd say "Part Time Lover" or "Staying Alive" something upbeat.

I think you should include some of Matt's studio versions on the burned CD.
I mean he sounds so polished and ready for radio!

My suggestions! YFM for sure! Studio version of Human Nature and So Small! Those two are a must..! The live version of Georgia you have here can be an option too.

Ok I posted a thread on IDF over in the tour section.

I thought about Human Nature but like Cacity said it's on the CD. I think Part Time Lover or maybe Let's Get it On. Although the studio version is pretty long so maybe we could use the Ellen version?
