New Matt interview (again)

IDK when this interview was done (it was posted today), but it's super cute, and we get something new regarding record labels.

What up with Matt sharing the dirt with a couple of tweens? Hehe.

That was an unexpected response, for sure! Never knew that labels were going to the shows to "scout" Matt. I mean, I had my suspicions, but hearing him say that makes me quite happy indeed. The part he said about "making sure he's consistant enough to have a good career" again sounds like something a record exec might say if they want an artist to prove themself. I get that, despite the "magical" record deals that Idol gives out to those like the Top 4, most musicians have to put in some time and effort to be deemed worthy of a six-figure plus recording contract. I guess that's what Matt is in the process of doing right now.

Obviously grabbing the brass ring will take a little more time, but if that's what Matt's gotta do to have a fulfilling career with a label that appreciates him, then you go boy! I am looking forward to hearing about any additional gigs Matt lines up, and who knows? Perhaps I'll even pull myself together and attend one. It would be nice to just see Matt in concert, uninterrupted (with original material, Georgia notwithstanding!).

Awwww. What a cute interview. Love those kids!

And Yay! or record labels going to shows to watch Matt. Yes! I am so positive it will happen eventually. Can't wait for that day!

Anyone knows where exactly is this interview from? It got me very excited with the record labels going to see him.
I am thinking it might be from Wisconsin but I am not sure.

Idk but that was my question too. It was posted on the 6th, but the shirt that he's wearing doesn't look like the one he had on in the Mlive interview, so I don't know.

Judging by the shirt (and its the only time I've seen this one to date) and iluvmatt's new avatar, I'm guessing its Kansas City, MO

AWWW, I thought it was such a cute interview with those teens. You could tell how nervous that kid was to be singing in front of Matt! Not bad kid, not bad at all!

Oh, and I guess I also was looking really hard for clues to the origin of this video! I think Matt was wearing the same outfit in Kansas City as in INDIANAPOLIS (September 5) because I'm pretty sure that I see AN INDIANA PACERS logo on the table! HA-HA, I told you I was analyzing every Matt video!

OK you have one upped me. That is absolutely the pacers logo on the table so I will go with your conclusion of Indianapolis.

So if it is Indianapolis yes! That was two three days ago.
So the possibility of him really getting a record deal is coming to fruition. I am so excited labels are interested enough to go see him .

In my mind... it's been taking so long because they want to define what exactly Matt's sound will be like when he records.
I love what Matt had to say about him being consistent enough to define a sound so he can have a great career!

Maybe the labels really want to nurture and explore his talent for the long term.
