Thanks Jenna! Lovely to see/hear Matt againg - But - urggh Kris is again getting on my nerves when he keeps pulling a SWF " i just wanna make great music and perform" - and then Danny and his foundation and his wife again. Oh it's so tiresome

Aww, thanks Jen that was great!! Wish there was more of Matt in it, but it's all good I am getting more and more anxious for Sunday and the first show to arrive, it is sounding like they are all putting together a killer show!

Thanks! I'm oceans away but still so excited for the first show. I'll definitely be watching it in real time at Ricky guy's site. It's really good to see many new interviews of Matt these days as the tour gets close.

I know what you mean about the whole Danny thing...Geeshhh..i mean really I did feel bad for the guy because his wife died but I just happened to be looking thru some interviews and stuff today about Idol and ran across this Interview between USA today and Danny..Seriously??..does this dude want to be a SINGER or a freakin Designer of Glasses??? The reason I posted this is because I don't understand how someone who obviously has other "agenda's" besides becoming a recording artist can get called by Sony/19 or Nashville or whomever to be signed to make a record right away when there is someone like Matt who LIVES for his music and so lovessss doing what he does and is so talented at it and such a awesome SINGER but yet the damn Idol people just diss him like they have!

Sorry everyone to bring this up again but it just still pisses me off!! Sorry!! I had to vent again after reading this article i ran across!

Q: When the tour's over, what are we going to see from you?

A: I want to grow this foundation (Sophia's Heart Foundation, which he founded in memory of his late wife). It's the legacy of my life and my wife. I want to come out with a line of glasses and have the glasses promote the foundation.


Q: How many pairs of glasses do you have now?

A: I started the season with 15, and now I have 50 or more.


Q: Have you thought of an alternative career as an eyeglasses model?

A: I would love (that). I hope I made glasses cool for kids. That's the word I heard on the street — that kids got excited about wearing glasses again.

I know I read that about Danny.
Apparently his record deal with a Sony Nashville label will be announced any minute now.
You know... I still can't believe all the Top 4 will be signed and still Matt is out of the picture.
I always figured 19 was not interested at all because they left him almost completely out of the finale, BUT... still this lack of buzz around Matt right now makes me wonder what will happen to him after the tour os over

I still want to believe with all my heart that Matt will get signed by another major label. I can't believe they will pass on someone as talented, current and marketable as Matt.
I have my hopes that this tour will do wonders for him and open the eyes of the executives.

There is still lots of time for Matt to be signed. [: Even if it isn't to 19, last year I believe it took a bit for us to hear something about Michael Johns and Jason Castro. And Michael Johns recently had an album out and Jason is signed to the same label as Jason MRAZ.

So, never fear as Matt will be signed. Maybe not during the tour, but once he is free from the 19 contract that all the Idols currently have from the show, we will hear more. We can help, too, though. Just keep playing his myspace music, and getting his name out their to everyone. Word of mouth works sooo well. Trust me. Just by passing his name onto someone who may not have watched American Idol.

{sigh} I wish Matt got more screen time, but he was still adorable in the few seconds he was on. Matt sounded so good at the beginning of Don't Stop Believin'!

Ha-ha! I think Matt's silliness is rubbing off on Anoop. I loved him saying that they would perform in leotards. Could you imagine Matt in a leotard doing the TWERK?That would bring the house down!

I think Matt will be impressive on tour.
