I read that too, but then I was thinking maybe the 'finalists' are Kris and Adam because Matt posted his twitter on his facebook page, and it was also posted on his fan facebook page. So that is leading me to believe that it is him.

I read that too, but then I was thinking maybe the 'finalists' are Kris and Adam because Matt posted his twitter on his facebook page, and it was also posted on his fan facebook page. So that is leading me to believe that it is him.

i'm pretty sure (or at least hoping) that's really him... the picture Anoop posted on his twitter of him, Matt, and Danny makes me think it's legit... but hmm... why would the mods at AI say nobody has a twitter if they really did?!?!

I wonder how much the mods really know about the Idol behind the scenes things. lol, I've just always wondered that. hehe.

I was confused when they posted that on those forums. But when they said finalists, it made me think maybe they are just talking about the Final 2. I'm sure since Kris and Adam are still in the competition they can't have one, but since the other Idols aren't and their myspace's and facebooks are back to them, I don't see why they can't have a have a twitter, either.

Sooo I just joined twitter, and I don't think I'm as up to date with it as the rest of you so question...if you're following someone do you just get email updates of when they update (or tweet? lol) ? and then you can just use it to chat with friends like a facebook wall? Hahaha as you can tell I'm really new to this twitter thing but when I saw that Matt joined and lots of you too i couldn't resist! Thanks for your help!

All this talk about the duet pairings is exciting! Maybe Lionel Ritchie is singing with Danny ("Endless Love" connection somehow?), and Anoop is singing with Cyndi Lauper ("True Colors" connection)? The Kris/ Keith Urban pairing seems so weird to me because Keith Urban publicly voiced his admiration for Adam. Huh...strange. And Adam must be singing with Kiss, right? I mean, David Bowie doesn't seem the type to do a duet with just ANYONE (although, maybe a "Dancing In The Streets" duet with Adam could be cool?). I don't know: I agree that either Santana or Carrie Underwood (because it's obvious that "So Small" is widely considered his best performance) would be the best two options. My tummy is getting butterflies again, peeps! Only five more days until Matt: The Return!

I liked 'So Small' but I am really hoping he is singing with someone else for the finale - I want something new...this theory is a little far-fetched, but we already know that Nicole Ritchie and Joel Madden are fans of Matt, so maybe her dad is too? Anyway, my first choice would be David Bowie, but that seems highly unlikely, so Santana would be ok...but I mean really, if Matt is in fact doing a duet, they couldn't have gotten The Fray or Gavin...really???

Yep! Matt's twitter is definitely real. He confirmed it on his Facebook.

Anyway, it's great to have so many ways to keep up with Matt! I hope he updates his twitter frequently...

And about duets, as long as Matt is singing and playing piano (b/c I miss him playing, so so much!) then I will be super happy!! Either way...just seeing Matt again on my TV screen will make my night.

Jenna, Matt should add you on FB.. he's been adding everyone on there, but i haven't been accepted on myspace! I think his twitter is real since he posted it on facebook! anoop, danny, scott, and alexis all have one also!

As far as duets go... Lionel Richie seems like the best fit with Matt, but OMG.. keith urban is one of my favorites!!! Who will he be dueting with????
